When fall hits I crave pumpkin bread. How do you make pumpkin bread more awesome? Make some cream cheese frosting and smear it on. Add a slice on top and you have a pumpkin bread sandwich.
And then there is more pizza. With fresh mozzarella, soppressata, fennel and fresno chili. If you want to make homemade pizza and you don't want to good around with a finicky dough, this is the pie to make. I've featured it before and I'll probably feature it again because it is so good and it's excellent leftover too.
After lots of carbs I like to drink amaro. Nardini is on the sweet side, but it's quite nice. Not too bitter. Some pleasant orange undertones with a licorice finish.
