The stout float is a grown up version of a classic root beer float. Simple and delicious.
The Bartender (Recipe from Robert Simonson)
- 2 oz. Buffalo Trace bourbon
- .25 oz Fernet Branca
- .25 oz gum syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitter
Combine everything over ice in a mixing glass. Stir until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over a giant ice cube. Twist a large piece of lemon peel over the glass and drop it in.
