It's National Daiquiri Day but that's not stopping me from throwing back a rye old fashioned while I cook some dinner. Tonight I'm using a young two year rye out of the Willett Distilley. This is some of the first rye that the fine folks at Willett cooked up and aged. Is it young? Yep. But it's great. It's a little hot but it works well in an old fashioned. Great stuff. Follow the classic old fashioned recipe below and swap out the bourbon with rye. You won't be disappointed.
